How to Know Jesus
God is sinless and perfect. You and I are not. Our sin separates us from God. God in His great mercy sent Jesus Christ to live the sinless life that you couldn’t live and die that death that you deserve so that all of your sins can be forgiven, and you can have eternal life and a home in Heaven forever. It’s a free gift, but you must be willing to receive it.
Romans 3:23-24 explains, “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and all are justified freely by His grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus.”
Romans 6:23 says, “For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
John 3:16 proclaims, “For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.”
Ephesians 2: 8-9 says, “For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works, so that no one can boast.”
Romans 10:9-10 explains, “That if you confess with your mouth, Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved.”
So, you must make a choice. You must repent, turn from your sins and turn toward God, accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior Who paid your sin debt in full and won for you eternal life.
The choice to follow Jesus is the most important choice you will ever make. If you’d like more information about this, you can check out my book What Is Your Choice that is available from Barnes and Noble and more.
